We are now visiting high schools in Reykjavík and neighboring townships. This week we visited Kvennaskólinn í Reykjavík, and saw groups studying evolution and basic biology.
The students tackled questions like:
How many individuals of ants can be found on the planet?
A.9.000.000.000
B.90.000.000.000
C.900.000.000.000
D.900.000.000.000.000
E.20.000.000.000.000.000
E is the right answer, there are ~2.5 million ants for each person. Claim your ants.
Out colleagues in the #AntTeam visited the Úlfarsárdalur library in Reykjavík
In collaboration with Vísindakakó, sciencechocholate project run by Vísindavaka Rannís.More than thirty people came and the children asked many interesting questions, and got to play with the ants (so to speak).
